If your body is going to succumb to something, it will. As soon as it was clear Biden was stepping aside it needed someone completed disconnected from what they had. I don't think it comes down to her gender, I think a lot of it comes down to the fact Biden has been pretty much an uninspiring President who has little to show for his tenure. I don't think we will see another female candidate in our life times unfortunately (I am assuming for now there will be another election which I am not sure of). This is legislation even climate-change denying Trump won’t overturn. States won’t want to say goodbye to those subsidies and the inward investment created by the IRA. It’s the economy, stupid.
