Christmas Tree 4729
I feel a bit for Dummett as he has the desire and commitment but he simply isn't a Prem player They used to say that about Danny Simpson
essembeeofsunderland 811
' I'm going to play a strong team but we do have a number of players carrying injuries who we may need to leave out and give them a few extra days to recover'. I can see it coming from Brolly, after its come from Ashley of course
The Fish 10872
We've got Arsenal and Man Utd either side of the FA cup game against Watford. Unless we surge up the table and can afford to lose a couple you've kind of got to play a weaker side in this game. Hopefully we'll have signed a few players by then, but I'd be amazed if our 1st team played twice in 4 days. Suppose, given it's Man Utd at home on tv, they might be able to re-schedule for later on? The reality is, we'll lose all three. To be honest, I wouldn't begrudge the club ignoring this. It's one thing when we're midtable and achieving nothing, it's another thing to risk relegation over the FA Cup.

It's one thing when we're midtable and achieving nothing, it's another thing to risk relegation over the FA Cup. It should be a decision made after the Arsenal game. If we've been utterly destroyed, have a couple of injuries, are 18th in the league and Man Utd are having a wobble, then we should sack off the FA cup. However, if we've clawed our way up the league, have decent squad depth, we should almost sack off the league game against Man Utd and look to get past Watford in the cup. Dr Gloom 21960
If there's ever a season we'd go out with a whimper it's this one. it's every season innit?
essembeeofsunderland 811
But it's extra annoying when we're expecting ( or told when Charver was in charge ) a full strength team will be going onto the pitch.
Howay 12496
We give the mighty Northampton a right kicking, do you guys mean you want them to try further than the 3rd round? Fully expect Watford to humiliate whatever squad we put out, if we go under-strength our lot will probably be too shit and if we put the first team out they wont be interested in playing Watford.
