Kodi

Let me break this down from you:

Chez is out of his kodi nappies and in kodi trainer pants.

You're wearing adult underpants but are regularly shitting yourself.

I'm going commando in skidmark-free leather trousers.

 Up to speed quite quickly as I had Real Debrid as an option whilst I resolved the buffering issues. All good for now with a few super tweaks on the cache settings (not zero caching).

I set the library thing up last night so now have 'movies' and 'tv shows' on the main Kodi bar and now have a groups of films I want to watch about 6 series added. I have also customized the confluence background using the Google picture addon (nice HD shot of the coast) from what I learned from the library exercise.

It's piss easy once someone on YouTube gets you going in the right direction.

You've missed one of the easiest options, the Android TV box which is like the Firestick but has more memory and features. The pre-loaded ones are probably the quickest and simplest ways to get going with the system integrated into your TV.

My dad got one of those but for the uninitiated I found there to be far too many apps/options etc. Kodi on the Firestick keeps everything nice and simple.

The one i got was easy enough for me and i am a dad! If you want kodi its as simple as plugging it in, connecting to internet and clicking on the Kodi icon. Think that is the simplest way to get going.

The other apps i have are just the google apps (mail, maps, play etc) and thats it. Mine has a 'online video' section with Kodi, Netflix and Youtube pre-installed. Looks like this

That's not the interface he has, yours looks much cleaner. He has VPNs and shit that he's supposed to use along with every add on known to man.

Felt awful reading back. Pictured Ewerk holding out a bogroll and his face dropping.

In fairness he bought the box all by himself, he just can't use it. What was more puzzling was how you'd wipe the arse of a born and bred sitter.

The box boots to that screen, if you plug the ethernet in you dont need to go to settings.

You find the Kodi icon (by one click to either online video or my apps) launch it and away you go. Mine had Genesis and Phoenix already on it.

Not saying its a better set up or recommended but for someone thinking 'what the fuck is this all about?' its probably the simplest way to get going.

I wiped Kodi off my box last week. I had a load of apps that never worked or I never used and they kept trying to update and it just slowed everything. I installed the newest version and only added the apps I wanted and it was working much faster immediately. Took me about half an hour.

I set up the library last night that the lord Gemmill was on about. Piece of piss and looks just the job. Took ages for it to sinc with all of the programs I have in my favourites like but that's probably something to do with the hundreds of episodes of XFiles and Seinfeld.
