Happy Face 29
Really interesting reading. Cuts through the perception and gives you absolute numbers and trends of who is committing atrocities, where they're doing it most, who the victims are and what their aims/ideologies are. THE MOST ACTIVE TERRORIST GROUPS IN THE OECD over 5 years 1. Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) - sought an independent Kurdish state 2. Individual Actors 3. ISIL - Wahhabi/Salafi jihadist extremist militant group 4. Individuals Tending Toward Savagery - anarchist eco-terrorists opposed to nanotechnology 5. DHKP/C - Marxist-Leninist party. It aims to establish a socialist state within Turkey there has been a tremendous growth in the total level of terrorist activity in the last decade with a shift from small nationalist and ethnic terrorist groups towards large scale groups or even insurgencies with broad religious and political based goals. http://www.visionofhumanity.org/sites/default/files/Global%20Terrorism%20Index%20Report%202014_0.pdf

Makom 0
Not sure if I'm repeating this stat accurately, but I think I heard recently that even after Paris, the number of people killed in Europe by terrorist is still actually lower than the total amount of Europeans killed in 9/11. scoobos 298
Oh well that's alright then... So glad we didn't think the same about the Nazis I mean, who gives a damn if humans are dying as long as its not your country/continent ey. God help me for questioning happy face data, but that seems very low globally given we've reports of 10000 yhadzi's abducted and murdered in the past 2 years. What about book harem too, they've done thousands in too. 17000 seems far too low. Funny how American attacks don't count as terrorism, I can't think of anything more terrifying than living as an innocent civilian under 24/7 drone flyovers Edited November 29, 2015 by scoobos
