Aye agreed, I know they're struggling a bit but this is where they were when he took over and would perhaps have been the whole time without him. I've seen articles and comments asking when Vardy will get back to scoring loads, it's this sort of inflation of what some of these players are that has led to this sacking. Vardy only got 5 goals the season before they won the title, he has 5 already now so he's actually doing better than the last time they were in a similar position. Mahrez was always going to be marked tighter.

I mean the way some pundits talked about Danny fucking Drinkwater last season was absurd, it was clear all along how brilliant Kante was and it's clear as day now that Drinkwater is back to being a below average PL player who mainly does 5 yard sideways and backwards passes. Their defence is Wes Morgan and Robert Huth ffs, did people honestly think these players had just suddenly become unbelievable players at 30  it was a big purple patch and Ranieri did a fantastic job managing it and keeping the season on the tracks.

I'd say I hope they go down but there's too many cunts I'm wishing that on this season anyway.

Didn't the board publicly back him a week ago?

Dreaded vote of confidence. I'd missed that actually, that always seems to signal the end.

And aye, maybe they wouldn't have gone down after all but their current trajectory is appalling. Bottom of the form table iirc.

I wonder how long it'll be before RTG starts talking about getting him to replace Moyes.

I hope they go down. There is one available spot alongside Sunderland and Palace.

 Aye I think my level of hatred for them two had me thinking it was more but those were the teams I was thinking of. Yeah I'd be more than happy with them 3 going down now and Rafa the Gaffa (as the mackems kept calling him at the end of last season, still don't get it) has us up as champs.

Pardew third fav for the Leicester job. Imagine the smugness oozing from him as he stands on the sideline as the CL music plays.

The fact that utter fraud is still in the running for PL jobs is absolutely ridiculous (even if it is just bookies).

He won them the title and all the rest of it but they've been fucking SHITE this season. I watched them against Man Utd and Swansea and they looked like us around this time last year i.e. Convinced they were down already. I'm hardly surprised they've binned him because they're probably shitting themselves over relegation and they've got a point. Anyone expecting long term loyalty to managers in this day and age (Ashley's inexplicit patience with Pardew aside) is fooling themselves
