acrossthepond 867
"The lads were brilliant, top performance, there was just this incident with goat's blood. And it affects you. I don't like to make excuses, but when you're a professional and there's witchcraft about, and your three left backs' ankles all lock up at the same time, and big Paul starts clucking like a chicken, it makes it difficult to compete. But if we keep playing the way we did today we'll get points on the board."

Howmanheyman 32715
Can't believe the bullshit from sky there for that finish. Robert did similar in a televised game and nobody went anywhere near as OTT as these cunts. What else was he he going to do? The fucking balls behind him and he sticks out a leg. Unfucking believable the way the sky wankers went on, (no idea what the prick's called who presents it is called?) Seriously question if they've ever kicked a ball in their lives? aimaad22 4104
Aye I was just thinking that, the technique on Robert's was insane, more difficult than both these goals.
Gemmill 44277
Didn't Robert score his years ago and this bloke scored his yesterday though. That might be why they weren't talking about Robert.
PaddockLad 17070
They're both better than mkhitaryan's as Robert and Giroud weren't offside. Â Wouldn't say one was better than the other tbh, regardless of whether Giroud meant it or not; the point is they both improvised in the same way to situation they were in. Giroud had also just run 2/3rds of the length of the pitch and was still travelling at a fair rate of knots when the ball came in behind him. Robert was a bit more static and closer to goal but had to twist more and reach further. Kid Dynamite 6985
What are people's thoughts on all of here big money moves to China. Witsel is the latest player getting pelters.  He stands to earn £60mil from a 3 year contract. Not sure I'd be turning that down like, even if it meant playing in a tin pot league

sammynb 3343
Things is at this rate it won't be a tin pot league for much longer. The Chinese government looks at football as its one sporting failure so they will make it easier for the clubs to attract world class players, managers and staff as they know in the long run it will benefit the home players.
