Alex 35103
Of course! I very rarely drink it now but woe, woe betide the bar person who serves me a bottle of it with a normal half pint glass, it has to be a schooner glass. I know but it was a revelation to a certain Boldon-based poster about a year ago or so.
Howmanheyman 33270
I know but it was a revelation to a certain Boldon-based poster about a year ago or so. Really? Surely he must have encountered the practice when he was trudging through the eighties in the bars and clubs on a matchday?

Monkeys Fist 42465
It's about a half a mile, rather than the 1-2 mile CT claims, btw. Which just makes the story even better. Aye, barely a mile east to west gates. Which brings into question the distances Bunter claimed to have waddled a while ago

Christmas Tree 4729
Madness. Everyday fodder like beans, soup etc warms up so much faster in a MW. Fried egg in 60 seconds. Par boiled taties in 5 minutes. Best mushrooms you'll ever eat in 80 seconds etc etc etc. It's like having a car and using a horse and cart to go everywhere. Jill 0
My microwave broke and I wasn't going to replace it but my gran died so I got hers. Hardly used it so far though other than for defrosting bread and doing poached eggs. I didn't mind not having one since it forced me to be a better cook.
