I very rarely drink it now but woe, woe betide the bar person who serves me a bottle of it with a normal half pint glass, it has to be a schooner glass. catmag 337
I mainly use mine to defrost stuff when I've forgotten to take it out of the freezer for tea.
Christmas Tree 5222
Madness. Everyday fodder like beans, soup etc warms up so much faster in a MW. Fried egg in 60 seconds. Par boiled taties in 5 minutes. Best mushrooms you'll ever eat in 80 seconds etc etc etc. It's like having a car and using a horse and cart to go everywhere. Jill 0
My microwave broke and I wasn't going to replace it but my gran died so I got hers. Hardly used it so far though other than for defrosting bread and doing poached eggs. I didn't mind not having one since it forced me to be a better cook.
