The ans is there has to be more community policing with a higher rep of Muslims within the force inside the at risk areas. There is no will to do it and there is no budget to carry it out.

You must've missed this part of the Gatestone article. ;)

I can't remember the exact details but I'm sure there was some kind of poll where it was put to muslims whether or not they'd report somebody that they knew had extreme views and the results were a bit worrying. Can someone help me out?

34% in the one I put up wouldn't report suspicious Jihadi type behavior. I know there are others. High percentage in various polls also say gays should be illegal. So there are some silver linings.

Yet some find it inconceivable that somebody within the Muslim community had any suspicions

It's why Mi5 have recruited Muslims heavily over the last two decades. But it's old black policemen in Brixton debate....We need more community policing where there is an ongoing relationship.

Hang on though, I'm familiar with that poll too and I'm fairly certain that the 34% statistic is in reference to Muslims who would report someone going to Syria to become a terrorist. Now, we could argue that's still wrong but they'd see it as picking sides in a war. As far as I'm aware, the poll makes no mention of how Muslims would respond to domestic terror incidents.

I can't check it atm so let me know if I'm wrong.

Moreover, this remains 'not the time' for assuming blame. There's plenty of it to go around anyway.

I see the PM has visited the region and has been to bother the staff at MRI whilst they continue to save lives and can frankly do without the funfair that goes along with her visit. No doubt she's waxed lyrical about the amazing, dedicated emergency services, working tirelessly around the clock as she did following Westminster. I'm not sure I'd be able to hold my tongue if she came anywhere near me with her sycophantic bullshit.

Is she looking to outdo that apprentice cunt?

99.9% of us will thankfully NEVER be a victim of terrorism.  Yet we rush to ensure that 100% ARE victims of the loss of liberty, that the terrorism achieves it's very goal.

Deciding/debating policy 17 hours after the biggest terror attack in over a decade isn't sensible.

Hopkins or Trump?

Not the time etc but I do find your frequent use of logical fallacies somewhat surprising.
