The Fish 11020
When is it ok to refuse to celebrate against your old team?
Gemmill 46673
When they're your local team or when you're relegating them. Any other time, you're a pinko commie who hates freedom.
scoobos 298
If you've been at one club all your career and are doing a lampard.

ewerk 31321
The Livermore thing at the weekend was a bit ridiculous. Really unless you've been a fan favourite then you can do what you like.

Gemmill 46673
Carrick has never played for us. We aren't his old team. Also, you asked when it's ok for the player to refuse to celebrate. Not when is it ok for you to consider it ok for the player not to celebrate.

David Kelly 1265
It's alright whenever you don't really care what the fans of your old club think.
Tooj 17
l honestly wouldn't care if Carroll scores on Saturday and celebrates. It would just confirm what a cunt he already is anyway.
aimaad22 4258
If a player thinks he's been treated well at a certain club and tones down the celebration as a mark of respect, I dont see anything wrong with it. Nothing wrong the with opposite scenario either, celebrating against a former team you feel you need to prove a point against. Perhaps not in a Adebayor-esque way though. jonasjuice 0
Well that's the crux of it, if Carroll scores and does a little happy jump and a smile and gives Kev some hugs I won't care, if he charges over to the away end and starts flicking the V's and burning £50s I'll be a bit annoyed. Would be slightly bemused if he didn't celebrate at all.
