Dr Gloom 21924
You've got to wonder what the blokes wolf whistling or shouting damn, or asking for random girl on street's number expect to gain. Ogling is fair game mind
Howay 12496
I can only assume they've done it for the reason it's more common than we think. That seemed fairly out in the open so if it were like that around the streets of newcastle I would imagine id have experienced it (as a bystander not as a recipient unfortunately). Aye I guess so, I'd also say it's fair to assume that a city as large as New York will have a higher population of fucking loons than Newcastle so that no doubt plays into it. NJS 4386
Theres a site the guardian have had a few articles on called Everyday Sexism where women post stuff like this and while its easy to suggest some of it is overreaction when you read about blokes on the tube rubbing their cocks against lasses even to the point of orgasm it really does make you wonder wtf is going on with people. I readily admit to enjoying porn but its proliferation has had a fucked up effect in recent years seeming to drag men back to baser times almost akin to the old caveman clubbing a lass over the head level. ewerk 30612
Was there ever a day when weirdos didn't exist? I think much more of it is being reported in the media these days.
TheMoog 0
Hmm, I wonder - for example, if some good looking, ripped bloke is walking down the street how many women/girls would do the same? The real problem is that most bloke's standards are a lot lower so they'll try and crack on to anything, even the munters
RobinRobin 11279
I am afraid that harassment is how it is received, not how it is intended. The same with bullying - just because you think it is all a "bit of a laugh" does not make it alright.

Thinking it's alright to just shout anything at someone in the street if they're a woman is the problem.

David Kelly 1245
Aye. Thinking it's alright to just shout anything at someone in the street if they're a woman is the problem. That's just sexist. If you're allowed to shout something you should be allowed to shout it a both sexes. Of course shouting nice tits to a bloke is a bit weird. Sniffing a birds hair in a bar is borderline Fritzel tbh.
