The Fish 10963
Looks like he's out of the Chelsea game. Honestly the injury list we've got is embarrassing
David Kelly 1260
They were talking up Aarons as having a chance for the weekend so lets hope that comes about. Can't see him being ready for 90 minutes like given the amount of games he's missed.

aimaad22 4222
This'll mean he can start both Cabella and Gouffran. Problem solved as far as Pardew is concerned.
David Kelly 1260
Won't stop Pardew rushing backThis is probably true. Then he'll be out til March. But I suspect as aimaad says, he'll use it as way to bring Cabella into the starting 11 without dropping Gouffran.

Park Life 71
Pleased for him. Improving in little incriments as he goes. Seems asleep on the ball but hard to get it off him. Lovely whack for the goal.

StoneColdStephenIreland 74
I think he gets unfair stick sometimes because ibid surnames Ameobi. He's been a canny player and always looks to attack when on the ball.

ewerk 31198
In talks with Sociedad apparently. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2962305/Newcastle-United-winger-Sammy-Ameobi-talks-shock-join-David-Moyes-British-revolution-Real-Sociedad.html
jonasjuice 0
Sammy's actually got a decent cross on him at times, if he get Ings as well that'll be a very cost-effective partnership to keep Moyes steady in mid-table imo.
Kid Dynamite 7169
Makes sense, one of the only local lads from the youth team actually good enough to get a game, and we let him go on a free transfer
Howay 12496
I just don't get this club. They bang on about how they want youth coming through and he's been good enough to get runs in the side over the last couple of season and they're just letting his contract run down. It would be hard to replace him with the shite compo they'd get so it's just bizzare.

You'd hope we aren't stupid enough for anything else.
Howay 12496
Could just be a gambit from his agent in contract talks with us. You'd hope we aren't stupid enough for anything else. I'd like to think so but Sociedad seem to be offering good money, rumours of them offering Ings 60k a week. Our 12k a week offer that's inevitable will look canny shit comparatively. Not saying we should offer Sammy mental money btw, just shows how fucking boneheaded letting his contract tick away is as they'd give him 500k a year more than us over a 4 year deal and it's effectively like buying a 2m player for them. Kitman 2207
I wouldnt blame him for leaving. Good wedge, decent manager, regular football plus Spanish sun. It looks like we can't offer any of those atm
Dr Gloom 22147
Better than gouffran.
Kitman 2207
Not saying much. I don't see the point of Gouffran or understand what he keeps getting picked for. Must be something Pardew convinced him about.
Dr Gloom 22147
He's not the worst option out wide at the club, by a long stretch, put it that way. Should probably be starting
The Fish 10963
He's a very frustrating player as he gets into good positions when he attacks and is direct. That said, he invites a lot of pressure with stupid fouls and cheaply surrendering the ball. Still have him ahead of Gouffran mind.
Alex 35573
He's at the stage in his career where he's only going to be able to iron out some of those faults with game time though.
