VV: "Are the club looking to buy a centre forward in January?"

It was stated that the club had brought in nine players in the previous window in order to take the team forward and that additional attacking players had been pursued. The club are continuing to look at potential targets but stressed no guarantee could be made in reference to January.

Agree with Ewerk and Kitman, cheers for putting it up though Trooper as it's always good for a laugh about how much of a pack of cunts run this club. They can faff on dancing round the topic of possibly buying in January but it's increasingly becoming fact that if they don't buy this side will go down, especially with Pardew in charge. The balls in Ashley and the other clowns in the clubs leaderships court on that one, so I'm not fucking arsed what they say about bringing people in it's up to them they can either buy and try and stay up or not bother and go down.

All that come out of that for me was a top ten finish will be ok again and dont hold your breath about spending in January. Not one question about Pardew's appalling record and why Ashley continues to stick with him. Charnley and co must have been pissing themselves laughing when "the fans" left without asking any difficult questions.

Like how they are trying to slyly blame Roma for the lack of a replacement.

 Aye, if that were true at all surely the sensible thing would have been to tell Roma to fack off and keep Mbiwa. They pressed ahead regardless and are now using another weak excuse as their defence.

Those fans at the forum seem canny pointless tbh, seems like they're told what they're allowed to talk about and if they accidently bring up a topic that offends Charnley and co they get a short crappy "err we dont want to talk about that" type response.

 The stock answer is along the lines of "the Board considered the matter and is satisfied that it made the correct decision." That's just a poncey way of saying "Fuck off we're not discussing it with the likes of you."

What are people genuinely expecting?

Even considered questions about pertinent subjects (like HF's) will get the stock response that Kitman referenced. This leaves banality which they're happy to chunter on about, then claim that "they've had constructive conversations with the fans".

So in short, it's just a complete waste of time.

I suspect they will keep doing these, giving basically zero important information until the fans just completely ignore them. Then they will end them saying that they tried to engage with the fans but we weren't interested.
