trophyshy 7083
Judging from the last six months he lost the dressing room a long time ago. I'm surprised he can find the stadium tbh, 'we wuz headin to vuh game, and somhaar eyz ended up in Powerhouse'.
Inochi 0
It is some effort, like. Very well organised. My worry, though, is that this protest in particular might end up being counterproductive. I think that printing banners in the Sports Direct colours is only going to piss Ashley off, and make him even less likely to bow to supporter pressure. Isn't it obvious who is behind it, by the way? Are we not allowed to say?

Kid Dynamite 7029
So things being a waste of time doesn't have any bearing on people doing them evidently
Rayvin 5223
Still don't think we should diminish the efforts here as a waste of time... if it was just another protest of the ilk we see regularly then I'd agree, but on paper at least, that's not what this looks like. I think 30k placards calling for Pardew's head will be noticed - likely taken up by national media as well. It is going to intensify scrutiny on Ashley and Pardew, not just from the fans, but from everyone. And if it doesn't, presumably the plan is to continue making life difficult for them until they acquiesce. Ashley is actually in a difficult position now IMO. He's built this reputation around being 'strong' in the face of the fans, but even if he wants to get rid of Pardew, it's now going to look like a response to this protest, as long as they can keep it up. As if he's buckled under fan pressure for once. There's a potential victory in this.

trooper 940
I dont think many people will have donated and they have 100 large banners! 200 hundred I've read Phil this thing is huge and must have had a lot of thought and planning. 30,000 placards proper distributors handing them out at all sides of the ground. A van driving round town they've approached the police and the club to let them know they'd be taking 200 fireproof banners with certificates in the ground like yourself I think this is much bigger than a few donations via the internet. Also if the Hull game doesn't see him away they're in it for the long haul.
