Anorthernsoul 1221
Good finish by Perez by all accounts, Obertan with the killer assist.
Ayatollah Hermione 13762
Right, standard of football was shocking and our pissed up teenage fans were even worse. A lowlight was them following an immaculately observed minutes applause for John Alder and Liam Sweeney (from both sets of fans) with 10 German bombers and "Sheffield is a shit hole" chants. Kids who think they're there to make cretinous noiseover owt else. Singing about empty seats. It's a pre season friendly, you mugs. Glad that lot isn't on league away trips, its embarrassing. Perez is a good prospect but is raw. Abeid has the presence but his passing is dogshit. Dummett even worse at CB than at fullback. Good counter for the goal but Obertan is still Championship quality. Even then, he looked lost for ideas at times. Rob Elliot cannit kick straight. Owt else? Don't think so. Shite game but a decent run out anyway. beatty 24
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=G1BPYorZFco Anyone watching? Janmaat does not do a good job at hiding his frustration at our utterly shit off the ball movement
beatty 24
Aarons just burst through 3 players and opted to take a sketchy at best shooting chance when he had Riviere free to his left. Would have been a clear cut opportunity for Riviere. Brilliant and shit in the space of 5 seconds.
adios 717
Didn't even realise it was streaming until you linked. Cheers for that. Did Obertan learn how to play football over the summer. wtf?
trooper 940
The advertising is so blatant you'd be forgiven for not realising there was a game being played today. beatty 24
Nah, still dopey and unable to play at pace under a modicum of pressure. Didn't see anything in his play to suggest he'll make an impact this season. Supposed to have been two clubs there to watch him, so if all goes to plan that may be the last we see of him in a Newcastle strip.
beatty 24
I mean, you only have to look at how Aarons tormented his defender on the other wing to see what kind of effect a pacey winger should have on the game.
adios 717
There was genuine interplay and intelligent passing and movement. I've never seen it from him before, not even in the other friendlies. I'm not saying he's suddenly a good player, just that he actually looked like a professional footballer.
Inochi 0
Really like the look of Janmaat. All action, assured on the ball, and committed in defence. He'll face stronger tests, obviously, but he's impressed me.
