BLACKANDWHITEGEORDIE 0
If you are classing Carroll as the last good player to come through then Rolando will have a problem.

ClubSpinDoctor 0
  "There’s just something about him. I have given a lot of really good players a debut – Jonjo Shelvey, Mark Noble, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain spring to mind – and I would put him in that category, where he is right now but those guys see it through and that’s what he needs to do.  "Fanks to me for giving him his debut." BLACKANDWHITEGEORDIE 0
Rolando signed a 2 year contract in April. Bearing in mind he is only 18, why so short. Ashley should now give him a new long term contract to vastly increase his wages and increase his transfer potential, which would keep both sides happy. The vultures from Liverpool and Man. City are already hovering.

ewerk 30175
Players under 18 can only sign a contract up to a maximum of 3 years in length. Though that obviously doesn't apply here.

David Kelly 1217
We need to make sure we get balance right between not losing him and making sure he keeps his feet on the gound and progresses. It's increasingly difficult to that these days with the wages that are on offer.
