I would guess that Ashley decided we would be playing a friendly game at the recently named SportsDirect.com Park in Oldham.Pardew of course would have simply gone along with his decision,whether he wanted the fixture or not.

Probably not a massive amount to anyone but i can think of one person/company getting publicity from it.

It's like last year when we played the Wonga derbys I suppose. So long as we're playing at their 'Sports Direct.com Park' and playing our matches at St.James' Park I'll give him this one once a year. (Oldham)
