Having seen the depressing news in the EC, why don't they just negotiate with them about terminating their contracts - let them go for free for less than what they'd be due if they stayed the whole contract period ?

 

They all know they arent going to get a game, so 'professional pride' [ it still exists doesnt it ?? } should tell them to negotiate a deal and move on.

 

Boils my piss that £3m will be going out on wages per annum to GO and SM - madness. At least SM didnt cost a fee but wasnt it £4m for GO ?

 

Just hope the deadwood can be got rid of asap INCLUDING likes of Jonas, Ferguson and all others who arent going to make it.

Not sure professional pride involves walking away from a preofessional club when no other wants you. Professionalism would be to come back full of focus and vigour, charged up for the challenge of breaking into the first team regularly.

Was there not a quote from someone at the club last season saying they expect 5 or so of the youngsters to be in and around the first team? I was hoping it'd be because of their quality rather than just because they're all that's left.
