Haydnator 45
Krul was gan' mental at Ayoze after the goal. Came close to the centre circle shouting and bawling at him and after the FT whistle Ayoze went straight for the tunnel but Hooverhands made sure he applauded the fans. In the dressing room Krul was still having a go, apparently.
Tom 14013
if Krul's hands weren't as a limp as crisp packets his opinion might carry more weight. As it is - shut up Tim!

Looked like it was going to be a proper Given vs Liverpool moment.
Anorthernsoul 1221
One of our best and most consistent players, should be first on the team sheet and up front.
Park Life 71
Getting better all the time. Must rank up there with one of the best value buys anywhere in the PL.
toonotl 3116
He's definitely developed into a very good well rounded player, and I agree with ANS, he's consistently amongst our best players every week.
The Fish 10972
When the ball gets to him, I just feel completely confident he'll keep it or use it well. Mind, I was screaming at him to square it to Sissoko for our 3rd.
David Kelly 1260
For a fairly small guy without any great physical strength he holds ball up extremely well. It just seems to stick to him and he's able to turn into space. Definitely one of our most important players. He'll probably be sold come January! Dr Gloom 22186
He's probably got the best close control of any player we have now. Some of his touches yesterday were sublime
essembeeofsunderland 811
Perez has the ability to control the ball whilst knowing what's going on around him.Beardsley had in in abundance. So did Shearer.Perez has the ability to be a hero on Tyneside but he only has until the summer to become one because an offer of £15m will see him on his way and i expect this to happen. Haydnator 45
Didn't Spurs try to get him in the summer? Club told them to fuck off by all accounts. Rightly so.
Haydnator 45
aye but we benched him for most of the season i'd say him and wijnaldum will both be targets by next summer Aye, unfortunately. We can just pray we can hang onto both of them for as long as possible. We should always have Ayoze and Mitro up top together. Screams a similar sort of deadly partnership as Owen & Shearer, when Owen was not dying from injuries.

Howmanheyman 33916
Aye, both well past their peak by that time. (Still better than Johnathan Stead and Dean Whitehead despite the toll of their injuries).

Haydnator 45
After reading back that post it seems that the only thing that must have been in my head when I typed that must have been that 2-4 win at West Ham. Shame I never saw Sir Les & Shearer or Cole & Beardsley... Edited October 20, 2015 by Haydnator

Shame I never saw Sir Les & Shearer or Cole & Beardsley...Or Shearer, Speed & Bellamy. Kelly & Cole. Quinn and McGhee. Goddard, Beardsley and Gascoigne. Keegan, Waddle and Beardsley. (My personal favourites, too young for pre-80's).
