Ausman 0
Yeah right, if you look at the photos from outside of the ground it looked like only a couple of thousand walked. Ashley will be laughing his head off.
Howay 12496
I thought it was odd so many had stayed for the finish but so few then stayed on for the lap of honour.
Kid Dynamite 7027
Loudest I've ever heard the crowd against the manager/owner. Stewards and police trying and failing to remove banners. 2/3/4000 walking out early in protest. It's not cringeworthy. It's a good start
Howmanheyman 33202
Radio Newcastle "Get out of our club, get out of clu---uuuu---bbbb, you fat cockney bastard, get out of our club" Two seconds later...... "Get out of our club, get out of clu---uuuu---bbbb, you fat cockney bastard, get out of our club" Charlie Nicholas: " The crowd are shouting for Pardew to go!". StoneColdStephenIreland 74
We should see this as a succesful start, not an abject failure. We need to get the momentum going and not just give up after this.

It's a good start Nice one, been waiting for people who were there to say what it was like. As with the negativity before the event, negativity afterwards is equally damaging to anything like this happening again or gaining momentum. Good to hear it looked a decent start. Gemmill 44879
This is mint. Fair play to the NO lads. They've come a long way from the Hitzfeld Dossier. http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,95353.0.html
Graing 15
Great comments on the Goal Zone show here on NBCsn. Not only did they talk about the walkout and Pardew and his comments, but also spent a decent amount of time talking about how much Ashley is to blame and what he's done to the club. Was good to hear recognition of this on Goal Zone.

TheMoog 0
I really hope it is the start of a fans revolt to the current regime, there's been far too much apathy and too many wankers saying to support the team regardless - those 'fans' in particular obviously just don't get it, it's not about supporting the team, it's about getting shot of an owner and manager who are content with using NUFC as a advertising board for a tacky, cheap-ass sportwear chain, no investment and no ambition. What's the point in going to watch a team who's sole aim is to finish in the top 10 every season and not try for anything more, including the cups. To anyone who either sits there and bemoans or belittles the fans that are actually doing something, however small or 'cringeworthy', I'd suggest you're obviously happy with the way the club is run and how the team plays so needn't moan the next time Ashley bends the club over and dry-fucks it up the tea-towel holder. Happy Face 29
The ten or fifteen minutes prior to the walkout were brilliant. However many actually walked or not, it was the best atmosphere all year, both in terms of supporting the team and criticsing the owner.
Monroe Transfer 0
I'll get plenty of abuse for asking this (not the first time I've mentioned it), but why does he get called a cockney? He's not from London (never mind the east end of it), he's not based in London as far as I know, and Sports Direct are headquartered in Derbyshire. It's a little akin to someone calling someone from Middlesbrough a Geordie. Edited May 3, 2014 by Monroe Transfer

ADP 0
Cheers. I would suggest nobody follow mainstream coverage of this btw, cos it's gonna be an absolute clinic in cluelessness as to the situation at the club and what people are actually protesting for. Go for it if you want to spend the next couple of days in a foul mood though. Jason Roberts's indulgence did it for me like. Spenk.
