ewerk 31204
Obertan could have been turned into a decent impact sub with a bit of decent coaching. Even in that first season, he was useful against tired legs (Blackburn and Bolton away). It would take a good coach though since he's obviously got no footballing brain whatsoever. He has no brain whatsoever. The mistakes he makes are incredibly difficult to coach out of him. If Fergie couldn't do it then Pardew has no chance. He simply is a poor footballer. Ken 119
If only we had got Douglas when he was available. Shame we missed out on that one (when I say missed out, I really mean the buffoon had not heard of him, so we turned him down just before he signed). Where did he end up - Inter wasn't it? How did he get on, does anyone know? Playing for Dynamo Moscow iirc. I know nothing about Russian football, but if history is anything to go by most who go there become worse players after they leave.

If Fergie couldn't do it then Pardew has no chance. He simply is a poor footballer. Aye, shame because he's a good athlete. He's got all the attributes but his decision making is awful, I remember the odd game when he took his man on on the outside and actually looked quite dangerous but he seldom does it. Baffling. And the less said about his crossing and final ball the better.
Andrew 4857
Id like to see MYM given a chance but if selling him means we get a new partner for Colo then I'm happy with that. We seem to be fostering a Dutch clique atm to go with the French clique I was thinking just that. The 2 nations well known for high profile implosions at key times so we decide to build a team out of both and stick Alan Pardew in charge. David Kelly 1260
Even though we have signed Perez, Colback, De Jong, Cabella, Rivere and Janmaat, I still reckon we need to bring in 2-3 more faces in. Joel Campbell has been spoken about and I think he'd be a really good signing if we could even get him on loan. Another striker would be nice and a centre half as well as I don't particularly like the thought of Saylor and Mbiwa lining up together when Colocinni get's injured Mbiwa looked good last season when he played in place of Colo (arguable better than Colo did himself). The problem is they don't look like they can play together and Colo being captain is always chosen first. An upgrade on Taylor and Williamson is needed as they are both at best very average. David Kelly 1260
How would people feel about us re signings Remy after he didn't fancy playing at the end of the season and pretty much made it clear he wanted to go elsewhere?
Ken 119
I'm not convinced about MYM, but we haven't given him much of a chance. We really need someone who's ready and reliable though. You'd think to replace one of the other two, but we're only noocarsle we can't afford to have a purple on the bench. I agree. He isn't good. He isn't a PL level player. Modern footballer ethics aside, the manner of him preferring QPR should be his defining moment.
Dr Gloom 22150
but to be honest, they're all cunts aren't they. it's either sign the cunt after he bombed us out (twice) and get a cunt that can get 15-20 goals a season, or sign another cunt who can't score as many goals per game but who is equally as cuntish - let's face it, there aren't any footballers left in the modern game that aren't cunts, are there? Just employ the person who we can get who can do the best job. None of them are heroes or role models they're just people getting paid a disgusting amount of money to do a job. I've long since given up expecting anything more from them.
Happy Face 29
Lad I go with gets a wad of notes out to wave at Remy whenever he gets close to us.
