PaddockLad 17364
I find it hard to get excited about any news about the club at the minute so the usual transfer drivel is having no impact on me at all. In that case, this BREAKING NEWS is right up your street young man http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/sunderland-s-jack-colback-on-newcastle-s-transfer-radar-1-6552116
Rayvin 5236
...that would be an interesting transfer. Not a welcome one though.
PaddockLad 17364
Just the fact that hes on a free makes me think its likely to happen
Howay 12496
Is that article really implying he'd be the Cabaye replacement fucking hell.
Rayvin 5236
I think when you consider the uttery twattery of the Ashley regime as a whole, such a move would appear to be a logical progression: Alienate club icons Alienate fans Rename stadium Rebrand stadium Ban the press Hire JFK...twice. Buy a Sunderland player to replace Cabaye I think the next step is probably to burn down SJP for insurance purposes. In fact, I'm surprised it's not already happened. PaddockLad 17364
He's a Mag apparently, played for Killingworth Juniors....didnt stop him scoring or looking reasonably fuckin pleased with himself at SJP in February though....

TheGoslingBeast 0
Can only see people leaving (except Pardew), my eyes are dim for what senior talent would even take us seriously at this point. We have no economical backing, no football backing, extremely low level coaching staff, literally no manager, no ambitions... there is just nothing. Supporting NUFC is literally like having no club. ohhh_yeah 2968
Babelfish translator tells me agent Oliver Cabrera went to London to discuss the transfer of midfielder Filip Djuricic. Linked to him last window. Would MA sanction meeting his release clause? Can not see that happening myself.
The Fish 10900
Miles Starforth and a couple other journos seem to think that story hasn't any legs.
essembeeofsunderland 811
With rumours that Shola is going to get another contract, and Ginger Colback on his way,John Halls dream of 11 geordies in the team is back on.
trophyshy 7083
Most likely transfer is 10k season tickets holders on their way out.
Howmanheyman 33404
Most likely transfer is 10k season tickets holders on their way out. Will they, though? Some won't want to cancel because they don't want to pay more if things change, (Ha!), and some will just continue to go because it's what they do on a weekend, have a few drinks with their mates then go and sit on a plastic seat and not utter a peep all game in sullen silence. essembeeofsunderland 811
For the majority of fans, the matchday `experience' is something they just have to do ,and will continue to do.Ashley knows this,so there is no pressure on him to change anything dramatically. If we bring no one in this summer,we will sttill average 45,000+. trophyshy 7083
Reading around I've seen many statements about not renewing, I'm optimistically extrapolating. I appreciate those who are staying put will likely be keeping schtum, but haway, the football is utter garbage and has been for the thick end of 2 seasons, even some of the zombie faithful must have picked up on that. Tom 14013
I decided I wasn't going this season - or giving them any money anyway. So I've been to 4 games (WWWW btw ) - 2 games were corporate, one kindly given and one I paid for which was Norwich home. So they've got £27 out of me and I may go to the Cardiff game for a reason I can't name. Constrast that to last season when I went to 17 games and spent a good bit. Unless there's wholesale changes I won't bother with the £27 + next season. The football is shite, the crack is shite and they've shown know intention of wanting it to be any better. There's 'loyalty' and 'culture' and being taken for a fucking mug.
Kid Dynamite 7077
There's a hell of a lot more people talking about packing it in. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 10% drop in crowds

aimaad22 4168
Are we seriously going to replace with Cabaye with the likes of Colback? The World Cup had better be good because the next season isnt
Anorthernsoul 1221
I doubt he'll be seen as a replacement for Cabaye, Pardew reckons that is Gosling. The future of the club is grim as fuck as long as these clowns run the club. The ginger little twat is average at best.
acrossthepond 877
Paper talk only. I'd go so far as to say Colback will never sign for NUFC.
Kitman 2207
I'm not sure we're financially stable enough to sign a mackem makeweight. We should leave those expensive permanent deals to the big boys like Stoke and Southampton. Perhaps there's a nice cheap less ginger European player we can get in on loan?
