One for "Up the Arse" corner?

Glad we got the result, but lets not lose sight of the fact that was a terrible game on the whole. We didn't get started until Westwood, then Cisse went off. De Jong didn't so much come on and create chances, but gave the midfield opportunities to find himself or Remy, or just use the space; Cisse's movement was poor all game. NDJ should definitely start the next 3 games imo.

Housemate thought I'd hurt myself when I celebrated the goal.

Not going to let this result paper over the chasms though.

Pretty poor performance and a bit torturous to watch at times but a decent win none the less. We showed a couple of signs of being able to put some football together. Deserved the win but Aston Villa should really have been scoring some of their chances.

I'm not sure in what world that was a 4-4-2 mind. There was no shape or movement and a general feeling of confusion.

Anita impressed me in the second half, hes obviously not got the range of passing Cabaye provided us with but he can find very clever short passes, a couple of times he found gaps I didn't think were there to get us into the box and calmly playing the ball to Sissoko at the byline in the box should've come to more before it ended up back with him and he won a freekick.

Great to see Colo still has the passion for the club after all that San Lorenzo shit.

We looked much more assured in defence with him playing. Or is it more that S Taylor wasn't?

its likely to be both.
