aimaad22 4156
What a day Stoke will feel hard done by the decisions, as far as Im concerned it couldnt have happened to a better team.Ben Arfa's performance was wankworthy. Okay so it was 9 mine for half the game, but still. What a joy to watch. That turn of pace over 5-10 yards is absolutely devastating! :nufc:
Ausman 0
Just got in from a trip to restock the old booze and saw the score (cremant de limoux if you're interested, local "champagne" but only £4 a bottle)  Marvellous, we were due one of these.  A lovely run of wins with very little to get angry about.  I wonder what Ashley has planned for us all in January.   Are living in Luxembourg? Brock Manson 0
The goals, a quick look at sending offs after extensive highlights of 'united', 'The Arsenal' and 'Jose's Chelsea'. (Not forgetting 'Liverpool Football Club'.) Â Very true.
The Fish 10856
Had to laugh, they get their first win at Goodison for nigh on 20 years, that was dragging them off the bottom, then Norwich, West Ham and Villa let their opposition take the win and sunderland find themselves back on the bottom of the league. Â Also, if you want to see how to be the biggest set of whinging bad losers, check out the Stoke message board. Â None of the yellows were deserved neither of the penalties were deserved the Newcastle crowd shouldn't have celebrated being 5-1 as it's classless this is the problem with too many frenchmen in the league Pardew will complain we didn't get any decisions I dunno, probably something about the ball being the wrong shape or something I presume... Ausman 0
Really enjoyed that complete humiliation of Hughe's team. Still want to see Remy playing out wide, much more effective when he's playing from there. Very happy for Cisse, to score.
Noelie 103
I'm always happy when we get 3 points, but the way we got them today kinda takes the glow of. Stoke were leading 1 - 0 and were controlling the game and then they went to 10, then 9 men. Had they kept their strength at 11 we may have been looking at a result in their favour. Remy missing a penalty.....why did he take it? Haidara was abysmal at crossing the ball.

Nothing takes the gloss off beating them. It could only have been better if Hughes had been sent off too.

Perhaps, but also, if we'd had 2 men sent off we could have been battered, so let address what did happen instead of imagining terrible situations. Remy missing a penalty.....why did he take it? 1st choice striker, hadn't been at his best, probably just looking to get his confidence back. Haidara was abysmal at crossing the ball. Young lad, he'll improve. Â Â Cheer up Noelie man

BigWalrus 0
Happy. Â Tiote back for Arsenal, after a rest, and the second half didn't involve any real physical exertion. Â Hopefully we're fresher than Arsenal, who had to work to come back from a goal down.
Christmas Tree 4725
Aye the joy of the victory shouldn't mask how poor we were first half, just as not too much should be read into a few Ben Arfa dribbles against 9 men Stoke. Â Against Arsenal it should still be 442 with Shola or 433 with Tiote joining Cabaye and Anita and Sis, Rem and Gouf up top for me. Â A nice Christmas gift from the gods. Anorthernsoul 1221
Bunch of inbred fools on that Oatcake  "You only won because of the ref"  Not once have they admitted their players were in the wrong, laughable. It was like a training game for over an hour. I was embarrassed for their joke of a club.
Monroe Transfer 0
Are some Stoke fans really suggesting the team should have walked off?Did I actually just read that? Â I haven't seen the actions that led to the ref's decisions, but none of them sound like absolutely stonewall NOT penalties/yellows. If they're not categorically inexcusable decisions the ref has made, then just face up to the fact that you might have been hard done by, it was possibly a little harsh but these things happen in football. Reading their forum, it's like there is no debate - the decisions were totally wrong, their players were totally innocent and if the shoes were on the other foot they'd expect us to react in exactly the same way (I'd like to think some of us at least wouldn't). aimaad22 4156
We'd have felt hard done by no doubt but there's some properly insane people on there.
