Park Life 71
I really used to dislike his hi jinx and rent-a-quote juggernaut....But just lately see him as lost in some kind of Kafkaesque struggle against the surreal human paradigm. Meenzer 15716
I kind of liked him on the Richard Herring podcast because he was less show-offy than usual. As soon as his fame whore mode kicks in he's basically unbearable to watch or listen to, though, whether he's talking sense or not
jonasjuice 0
Always liked him tbh, and always found the way he's so honest about his fame whoriness quite endearing. Great radio 2 show. His rebrand stuff makes for really interesting youtube viewing too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGDFFQxawxI Fair enough some people just don't find him funny but I've always found it strange when people (almost exclusively heterosexual men) take a very strong dislike to him personally, usually with a 'Huh, Russell Brand, what a weirdo', his biggest crime seemingly using too many long words. Oh and all the heroin and stuff I guess.

I don't have a strong dislike of him personally as I don't know him, take him away from the camera and he might be alright.
PaddockLad 17643
He's a funny bloke iyam, and that's it. His mannerisms and look appear as if theyre designed to attract a certain type of (desperate?) female. I missed his gig in Bournemouth in October (was up north for the derby :/ ) but a mate was there said some absoloute monster in the audience shouted out that he'd "had" her 6 months beforehand, which apparently was true as 20 mins of the gig was then devoted to them reminiscing about it...my mate said if she was a plant she was a very good one
Park Life 71
I thought he was one of those comics who's just overjoyed that he's made it (and some money) and the whole celebrity wave that even got him to Hollywood. But there is something else going on here... He's been with Lynch doing transcendental meditation, he's had talks with Paxman and he is self aware enough to constantly criticize and do down his own celebrity status...Now all this calling for revolutions and so on - at first I thought it was kitsch - comic calls for revolution, but it seems weirder the longer he keeps it up. He's got that mad eyes thing going on as well.. Somethings not right here. Edited December 16, 2013 by Park Life
Gemmill 46021
I like him, and I like the fact he's making a bit of a racket about a revolution - he's spot on about how thoroughly depressing the current political setup is. He's an absolute swordsman as well, by all accounts, which can only be admired.

This, he's a wordy twat obviously but I can't help but like the bloke and at least he tries to do something with his fame rather than endless appearances on quiz shows etc.. Kevin Carr's Gloves 3962
In that Re:Brand show didn't he wank off a bloke in a bog just to challenge his own sexuality. Apparently he was off his tits on Heroin the whole time he was filming too.
catmag 337
Has just delivered a belting show at the City Hall tonight by all accounts. And for the record, I like him (but not like that)
