Rayvin 5175
Don't really know what this means, but Labour have been granted an 'urgent question' on Brexit, presumably to Davis, at 12.30pm.

Rayvin 5175
Davis is being crucified from all sides, which is good. Â There's definitely a push being made here for soft Brexit though. From Labour and even some Tories. Â The fact that soft Brexit remains utterly pointless is Davis' line of defence, and he's right, but it might be that we need to just delude ourselves on this for the best possible outcome. Rayvin 5175
Davis challenged to give MPs a free vote on single market access. Davis claiming that the government was elected on a mandate to take the UK out of the SM. That's clear to me actually. They can't let soft brexit happen now. To get to that point, we need the government to collapse, and for the country to go back to a GE.
Park Life 71
It's not some Tories it's about 70% (that don't want any kind of Brexit). There is a hard core nutter minority that seem to have got hold of the party over this issue. Edited December 5, 2017 by Park Life

Single Market access makes the whole thing pointless, and exposes them entirely.

I don't see how that's a hope or prayer tbh. I see that as the worst possible position we could be in. If the Tories could climb down from this without risking a generation in the electoral wilderness, I think they would do so.
