Let's assume that you haven't just turned up to try and get a bite... I don't know how you get any enjoyment from it. May came across as big of a smug cunt as Cameron used to. It's just a showcase for how much of a cunt the standing PM is, and the last two have come up trumps every time to cackling and jeering from the roomful of adults charged with running the country.

 

It's utterly fucking depressing and infuriating to sit through, whoever is asking/answering the questions.

I know times have moved on but it's a fantastic theatrical tradition where the PM can be grilled about virtually anything once a week. Whatever it's faults, there's many a democracy that has nothing like this (particularly presidential ones).

 

It's a battle of oratory skill, wit and subject knowledge. In theory, you can nip along and see your local MP and get him / her to ask the PM of the day about your issue.

 

Obviously I'm a big political nerd so love the argy bargy as well. As do others from time to time

As an example btw, the quote you've screen grabbed there to try and get a bite (I should have fucking known) - Corbyn didn't make Cameron look a cunt cos he "gave him a grilling", he made him look a cunt because he asked questions that exposed what a shameful twat him and his party are. Doubtless you would have proclaimed the same PMQs a roaring success for Cameron because he avoided those same questions, but delivered his "responses" with the sort of sneering smarm that gets your gusset soggy.

 

It's a charade, it's not an exercise in democracy or accountability.

2. I'm happy to discuss politics til the cows come home. I think the piss taking and wummary is fairly well spread out by all on here, so I'm not to sure why the odd little bit from me is such a big deal to you.

 

3. The only reason there has been a lack of grilling of late is because Corbyn is a disaster at it. The whole point of having 6 questions is to allow for interrogation if required.

 

A decent MP in Corbyns shoes could have made May look very poor today.
