Just stick them in as extra meat for the beast wing. The bandwidth Brexit took up was incredible. Not a single tangible benefit has ever been offered. Now nobody wants to talk about it. Except Rayvin. ;)

Honestly, I'd have thought this would be the perfect time to have someone like Corbyn (but not Corbyn). A real firebrand who can rail against the handling of Brexit whenever the opportunity arises. Sure their incessant grumbling may be dismissed, but it would keep the conversation going, force the Tories to answer questions on it, force the media to talk about it.

Thought his speech today was good.

Obviously he didn't announce we're rejoining so it will have come as a huge disappointment to some of us.

It's better than nothing but I do hope Labour quickly discover the economic and growth based imperative to get the fuck back in sooner rather than later.

Suppose we need to let them fail at setting up anything useful with the EU first.

A Romanian baby was dropped out of a window apparently. So social services turned up and police turned up to help them and it all kicked off.  The new Green Party MP that as elected for the area started kicking off about how Islam is the ruler etc. Fucking mental.

It'll be the Green councillor I think. Don't think the Greens won a seat in Yorkshire. Looks like a mad old situation.

Aye it's him.  If it wasn't for Starmers position on Palestine then it would have been Labour.

So, Twatter has it wrong

How does dropping a baby out of a window end up with burning buses and tipped Plod wagons, though?

I got sent a link to something on Twatter when it first set off.  Comments about how Muslims are causing it all, how this is what happens when Sharia Law is allowed in the country.  Just general fucking gammons.

Apparently Social services turned up to take away the remaining kids and that kicked everything off.

My bus on a morning comes through Harehills before it picks me up.  This morning the first 4 busses were cancelled due to roads been full of shite, an overturned car, burnt out buses etc.  Madness.

Tough break for cunts like Farage, but it appears it was the Muslim councillors stepping in and trying to stop this shite.

Being reported that Braverman is deflecting to Reform. Good. It ends her career as a mainstream politician and allows the Tories to be less mental at a time when the right is going fucking tonto everywhere else.

It's got fuck all to do with religion or illegal

immigration, despite what Farage is trying to peddle. Most of the people in that video will be 3rd or 4th generation Brits.

I've said it before. If bother kicks off in a council estate in Leeds, it's often British Asians involved. If it kicks off in London, it's often Black kids involved. If it kicks off in Sunderland, it's often White kids involved.

Their colour/religion is incidental. They just happen to be the poorest, lowest educated demographic living in the shittest areas of those particular cities.

She's getting ripped to bits by the newly far left Greens and Owen Jones for this very innocuous tweet. Welcome to what it's like to have that little prick infiltrate your party.

Has "don't speak ill of the dead" now become "don't speak ill of the retiring"?

Biden may have done a good job domestically but he is a genocide enabler.

It'd be tough to name a global leader who wasn't.

Maybe so but the world looks to the US for leadership and Biden dithered on the Israel/Gaza issue for months. He should have come right out from the start and called for a ceasefire like he knew he'd inevitably have to do at some point, and decided to wait for an incredible number of people to die before he'd do the right thing. Presumably in the hope that Israel would 'get it out of their system' with a few tens of thousands.

Let's not start becoming so pragmatic about these things that needing 30,000 dead before he will make the right decision is somehow considered to be acceptable.

That said, the Green Party are also allowed to make the odd comment, as politicians do, supporting an outcome that they wanted to see without endorsing literally everything the guy stood for.
