Sunak still focused on the big issues.

This will inevitably turn attention and questioning to how the prisons are full and we're letting dangerous offenders out early.

Can they not think?

In amongst all the shite, this was a really nice watch. Don't watch it if you're on public transport, you might start bubbling.

He's doing the job Sunak used to do. Send someone out into the firing line to say any old mad shit to get the boss off the hook.

Fuck knows why he's doing it when he's expected to lose heavily at the election. He might have a shame kink.

Solve that with US-style executions. 👍

Tory candidate, a primary school governor and magistrate has to withdraw for having terminally shit patter. It's not even offensive, it's just complete dogshit.

There'll be loads more of this to come. They were still 100 candidates short at the end of yesterday.

Did he get this from Sid the Sexist.

“Hey there, wanna come to my place and watch porn on my 50 inch flat screen mirror?”

On a side note, I used to play football with the writer of that article.

Magistrate Sam Trask, expected to “respect the dignity of all” in his judicial role, once boasted his favoured bra size measuring technique was “hand sizing them by feel”. In the unearthed graphic online post, he added: “Maybe have to make a more detailed inspection with my lips and tongue... for accuracy, of course.”

I know someone who would approve of craic that reeks as bad as this.

They’ll have been that desperate, trying to get candidates for all the seats where the incumbent mp is standing down, that they won’t have had time to check their social media history. Which is nice, especially given the amount of weird sociopathic cunts that are Tory councillors etc

Got to find 100 in the next 24 hours as well. There'll be some real "local characters" in that selection.

Mind Reform were still about 150 short. There was one of their candidates posted on his social media that he needed to gather a certain number of signatures so he'd be at the local Wetherspoons if people could pop in and help out.

I mean it makes no odds cos these people are all just making up the numbers, but the absolute fucking state of these parties is something to behold.

I know there'll inevitably be some good candidates overlooked, but generally speaking I've got no problem with Starmer imposing people with actual brains in safe seats. We want these people to run the country, not just be popular in their local constituency party.

Most reform candidates are “that” bloke in Wetherspoons tbf. The angry, jobless, middle aged white fella that stinks of joop and stale rollies who tucks his t shirt into his trackies and sits on his own in the corner screaming “immigrants” at people just wanting to enjoy a burger and pint combo at 1 in the afternoon.

A brexit voting tory would be called a “patriot” in the telegraph, so that’s a fake quote

It probably says a lot that I could get a more or less guaranteed job as a language teacher and I'm not even considering it as my next career move. None of the teachers I know have anything good to say about the experience these days (though admittedly, some of them will say it's always been terrible  )

Post-covid, parents think they now just a have a direct line in to teachers to criticise everything they do.

The lack of SEND facilities now means that mainstream schools are just having to pick up the slack and it's basically impossible to run a classroom like that.

All sorts basically. It's a fucking dismal profession these days.

I was on a call the other day at work and one of the women on the call was complaining that she has to get her kid from school by 5pm now, and "I just don't think they give any thought at all to working parents".

I genuinely had to bite my tongue not to say "bitch, they're TEACHERS. It's not paid fucking childcare. Your kids are going there to be taught. FOR FREE. Once the lessons are over, you're lucky they aren't bottled out to roam the streets. These people have their own kids to go home to as well you know"

The entitlement of parents is easily the worst thing about the job according to my lass.

Talking to my mate you can throw in the "make or break" Ofsted visit too as adding to the pressure cooker atmosphere.
