Renton 21627
It was the content too. Just devoid of any ideas like SpongeBob says. Buy British. Levelling up. Go fuck yourself Starmer. I'm an internationalist and despise nationalism and your scabby union jacks. I'll vote for you by default and you know this, but fuck me if I'm going to rejoin your party.

The majority of the callers say that it has NOTHING to do with Brexit. They accept that more checks are required, every passport has to be checked, and that that means that what might have taken 30 seconds might now take two minutes or more. So they accept that it takes more time because of Brexit, but they REFUSE to make the logical leap that it therefore is also Brexit that is causing the queues. It's the fault of the French because the French are FURIOUS that we've left so they want to make it seem like it's Brexit. This is what we're dealing with. A complete breakdown in logic because of their emotional connection to Brexit. A bloke saying "give it 5 years! You've got to let it bed in! Give it 5 years then try and tell me it's Brexit." This is why I keep saying this argument is unwinnable so Labour should absolutely not try to litigate it now. These people will not accept basic logic. They are true believers. It will kill Labour if they try to take this on. It's proper 'Emperor's new clothes' isn't it? No one will dare to say what is absolutely evident. Is it any wonder teachers are leaving the profession in their droves ffs. Did you hear Cleverly is refusing to rule out the idea of Johnson being given a cabinet position should Truss become PM? I thought he did, but without that word - saying moving the balance back to people getting paid a fair amount for the work they do (I'm paraphrasing as I heard it, didnt read it). Personally, I think he's playing dirty, and the long game - He needs to win over the idjits and there a lot right now , because the public are regularly fed a dose of bullshit. Once they are in , I'd hope they will move their policies for the next term far more in line with what we would expect. Priority is power at this stage. What I'd like to see, is Lib Dems rock up with a full nationalisation plan during the strike year, now that would perhaps win favour. My fear is that the Tories stand for a strong lurch towards USA culture and politics, and priorities for me now are deeper than just socialism - we MUST be seen to stand in agreement with the ECHR for example. For me, the repercussions of what they are trying to do at the moment could really hurt not only our image, but global security - other countries do look and follow the UK sometimes , the pandemic is a sign of that imo.

NJS 4386
I said before the pressure really started on Johnson that if they replaced him with Sunak then there would be virtually no difference between the parties on policies - especially economic ones . I know the membership being batshit now makes that look unlikely so we're back to hoping for a tory self-destruct to allow Labour to win by default. I see no sign of Starmer being a bait and switcher, especially with Reeves. I know it's an easy insult but I really can't see why the latter didn't join the tory party or indeed why the fuck she joined Labour. spongebob toonpants 3997
Listening to Starmer being interviewed on Radio 4. He is a total personality vacuum, and isn't saying anything that would get anyone to vote for him. Platitude upon platitude He also sounds much more like the third candidate in the Tory leadership race than anything else
