Secker was pure 80s glam. 90s Secker would have been too late for me.

She'd have been a proper milf by then I'm guessing? But it's only a joke tbh. (Beardsley was still reasonably fit in the 90s, though?)

In an innocent ‘crush’, long before my balls dropped-type of way, I would’ve been into Secker, Linda Evans and Floella Benjamin at various stages in the late 70s / 80s.

Carrington was decent tbf.

She was later though I think. Not that I particularly liked her, probably due to an aversion to the show in general. Although I do remember the lily pond catfight she had with Alexis / Joan Collins

Taking down the decorations, wandered into the living room and Mrs Rents is watching Kuenssberg with Farage being interviewed on iPlayer. What an absolute loathsome piece of shit he is. Hey, he's not accusing Starmer of anything, he's just asking questions. Oh, and Trump's literally a hero in his words.

How fucking thick do you need to be taken in by him? He deflects every question, poorly imo, but LK isn't tough enough. He's also so obsequious to Musk and Trump. Says we don't need to fear tariffs from the US, we just need to cut all ties with Europe. He's a transparent literal traitor. Oh, and weaponising child rape to promote racism. Yet he's gaining traction even amongst the young apparently.

I know I should have just turned and walked out the room but it's like that philosophy thing of does a tree make a noise when it falls if there's nobody there to hear it? Well yes, it does. And sticking your head in the sand isn't going to stop you getting fucked over down the line. Ignorance is rarely bliss in the long-term. I expect politics to get very ugly these coming years, worse than ever before.

Quote

Elon Musk has said Nigel Farage “doesn’t have what it takes” to be Reform UK’s leader, hours after Farage refused to condemn the billionaire businessman for his inflammatory comments about Keir Starmer and Jess Phillips.

In a surprise intervention, less than three weeks after Musk met Farage at Donald Trump’s Florida home amid reports he could donate $100m (£80m) to Reform, Musk used X, the social media platform he owns, to say: “The Reform party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes.”

Well, that friendship didn't last long.  Who'da thunk that Musk would turn out to be a cunt to absolutely everyone? :cuppa:

This is hilarious. He was just sticking up for his buddy on LK a few hours ago, saying how they are going to hang out at the Trump inauguration, and now Musk has publicly humiliated him.
