They are. In my opinion they've done little wrong in all honesty.

Online safety acts a bit of a cunt tbh.

Also their victimising of trans people for no real reason.

Labour are resisting calls to block Musk from donating to Reform cos they think it'll play into Farage's hands.

It might do, but you know what would play into Farage's hands more? A HUNDRED FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS FROM ELON MUSK.

These people are too fucking timid to govern. Farage must be pissing himself.

What would the money be spent on? There's a cap of £55k spending on campaigning per constituency, which is £34 million in total.

I'm not sure money plays as an important role in politics in the UK as it does in the states. Also think a stronger Farage will hurt the Tories more than Labour. But yes, if I were Starmer I'd make it illegal and close any loopholes.

We shouldn't be asking where it can be spent. We should be asking whether a foreign national who doesn't live or pay taxes in this country should be able to pump that much money into the political system. The obvious answer is no, and it should be stopped in that basis alone.

But since you asked, Farage isn't exactly known for sticking to the rules, is he? And the election commission isn't exactly known for having the teeth to enforce them. Remember Brexit campaign spending? They broke all the rules there too, and once the vote had taken place, there was nothing anyone could do about it.
