I’ll let others decide how accurate all this is. One thing is for sure we wouldn’t be able to achieve it ourselves if we’re outside the EU (despite what he says) or via either of our two main political parties

The fucking state of Edward Leigh's face. He doesn't look like it would take much assistance.

Fuck me. He looks like he's been apple bobbing in a chip pan the poor cunt.

My mrs gets her nails done by some Polish woman. She has been here a while (kids were born here etc) but she is moving back to Poland soon as “money doesn’t go far anymore” and “everyone is rude and miserable these days”.

You can’t really argue with that.

I've mentioned it on here before, but I used to work with a Polish lad who was saying there was a point in the last ten or so years when he realised, travelling between here and Poland, that it had flipped and he now felt like he was going back to a better run country with better infrastructure when he was headed to Poland, rather than before when he'd felt that when he came here.

Probably the same colour, complexion and expression as Elvis had just before he bit the dust trying to curl one out on the Graceland throne.

Lass I used to work with said it was quite an autocratic right wing government. And also quite a sexist society, mainly driven by the former. Paying women to stay at home and have kids, under the guise of Catholic theocracy, keeping them out of the workplace to an extent. Especially  what’s deemed to traditional male jobs. Which includes basically almost everything that pays well.

No doubt but Poland are one of the few countries that in recent history have rejected popularism and drifting to a more left leaning society I think. I work with quite a few polish health economists, all of them female, some have kids to juggle which doesn't seem easy for them, admittedly.

That said when we had our latest round of redundancies they were hard hit as they had much worse employment rights. But aye, they are going to surpass us on GDP per capita, but personally I think that is because of the EU, while I am in no doubt he was a Brexiter. Even Romania will surpass us in a decade.
