They'll go through 2, probably 3 leaders before they'll appoint one who's in contention to become PM. Whoever does become leader needs to root out the xenophobic element else they'll never move the party into an electable state. As much as it annoy us, (I would prefer a more progressive pm) elecrions are won from the centre in this country due to the electoral system. But with all these sorts of things, the places only do it to meet demand anyway. It’s like the Gregg’s (non) controversy over the sausage rolls.
