The country is in desperate need of a general election. And that's not just to oust the sitting government, it's on the basis that there has been seismic political upheaval on an unprecedented scale since we last went to the polls.

The sitting government need reassurance that the mandate they consistently refer to is still authentic. They can't keep talking about an 80-seat majority considering since then we've had Brexit, the pandemic, an energy crisis, a cost-of-living crisis, one PM effectively removed from office and his replacement seemingly an utter PR disaster.

The 2019 mandate holds no validity, it needs to be reaffirmed and, if it can't be, they need to step aside.

FFS!

Graham Brady who is currently on holiday. Apparently Boris Johnson is also on holiday.

These cunts get months off in the summer and also got two weeks off for the Queen dying. Oh and then they got a couple of weeks off for conference season. And now that Parliament is back sitting again? These two fuckers are off on their holidays. In what other job would that be possible?

It's the equivalent of a school teacher taking a holiday during term-time isn't it?

It’s not their centenary year though. Check yo’ facts.

Given it was formed in April 1923 they're in their 100th year.

You’re 99 until you’re 100. That’s how it works.

But Gemmill say which year it was in. The moment you pass the 99th anniversary you're into the 100th, or centenary year. That's how it works.

There's a distinct difference between celebrating a centenary and being in a centenary year.

Were you one of these who celebrated a new millennium on 1st January 2000?
