ewerk 30393 Posted September 6, 2022 Share Posted September 6, 2022 I heard a bit of his farewell speech on 5 Live earlier and they were scrambling to figure out his reference to Cincinnatus returning to his plough and eventually figured out it a Roman reference to a farmer who became absolute dictator and then after victory in 16 days returned to his farming. What they failed to explain was that Cincinnatus returned for a second dictatorship.
