Gemmill 44900
I reckon Truss catches up when she picks up the lion's share of Braverman and Badenoch's votes. Sunak's lot will lend votes to Truss to knock out Mordaunt too, I reckon.

If his campaign starts lending votes to Truss it'd run the risk of knocking himself out of contention.
Gemmill 44900
I'm expecting Sunak's vote will be a lot more secure come the later rounds. Aye he wouldn't lend votes now but when it gets to a final 3, if he's got a solid lead he might be able to make a decision.
Craig 6682
Personally, I think the majority of Tugendhat and Badenoch's votes are more like to head Mordaunt's way than in the direction of Sunak or Truss. I reckon Truss not polling more than Mordaunt in this round is a massive blow to her campaign. Edited July 14, 2022 by Craig
Gemmill 44900
Doubt it on Badenoch. Truss gets the lion's share of Braverman and Badenoch. If she doesn't, it's over.

I agree about Braverman, they'll head Truss's way. Badenoch is too much of a radical reformer though IMO and her backers are likely to distance themselves from anything closely associated with the incumbent administration - which would work against both Sunak and Truss. Renton 21627
It's going to be Mordaunt who wins, another Mrs May. She won't save them though.

Alex 35095
I think she wins if she’s in the final two. Most of the membership would probably regularly knock one off to her if they could still get it up Edited July 14, 2022 by Alex

If you assess the sliding scale of the individual's politics in splendid isolation then this claim has strong credence, but Tory MPs across the spectrum have publicly backed Badenoch on account she's promising radical reform. The distribution of Braverman's backers will be predictable. I'm not so sure Badenoch's will be that predictable.
Craig 6682
Dorries is tearing into both Mordaunt and Badenoch on Twitter today. She's going to look pretty fucking stupid if Truss doesn't make it and one of those does.

Yeah I think her backing is hugely damaging. They must see her as a liability, particularly when she continued to back Johnson to the very end. Sunak v Mordaunt would be an interesting dynamic. Does she support the bloke who put the knife in her beloved PM, or the woman she's said is not capable of being PM. Fuck me Dorries is as thick as a whale's cock!
