Renton 21627
Got R5 on, listening to some of the vox pops I think we should just get it over with and scrap democracy. This morning one stupid cow said "Boris was the most trustworthy person in parliament".

I don't think he can be loyal to the party that have just shafted him. However, he was and still is in this only for himself. He wanted to be seen as the new Churchill and genuinely doesnt give a toss about the general public. What a massive casserole of nonsense. Craig 6682
For a Tory, Major has always had a degree of sensible pragmatism about him. He's absolutely right, here. Edited July 7, 2022 by Craig

And they are probably disproportionately represented on the BBC in the interests of "balance". Edited July 7, 2022 by Renton

Renton 21627
What's the risk btw that Johnson will conduct a scorched Earth policy in his remianing time if not expelled now? Pretty high I would think, especially with the EU.

As has often been shown he’s not even close to being as clever as he thinks he is. What he envisioned as some rousing speech to cement his legacy and perhaps even buy time to save his skin will have just made most of the party want him out the door before he causes more damage
