who said it does? those things should be condemned too. it's one thing to point out a disproportionate response in certain sections of the media, another thing altogether to deny that there is evidence. the fear of jews in the socialist worker wing of the labour party is real and it should be acknowledged and condemned.

to blame a media conspiracy is to ignore the problem, and i'm sorry, but this tactic makes a lot of labour supporters on the defensive appear antisemitic, when they probably aren't. the buck stops with the party leadership, but yes, this problem does exist. you don't just have to take my word for it. there is plenty of evidence out there.

Not denying the problem, just castigating the media. I think I've been pretty consistent on that.

Also gonna stress that I don't give a single shit how my stance makes 'Labour supporters' look. My stance is just my stance.

that's fair enough, but it is the same stance that a lot of labour supporters on the left of the party are taking.

This is another problem with FPTP, it obscures direct accountability. Rees-Mogg would have to work bloody hard not to get elected in North East Somerset. Diane Abbott could claim 2+2=5 and still win a Hackney landslide. Or to pick an example closer to home, Ian Lavery is clearly dodgy as fuck but will be the Wansbeck MP for as long as he wants to be. The whole system is rotten.

Not the same Ian Lavery, shirley?

But at least I admit when I’m wrong :)

Somewhat cancelled out by your being completely incapable of realising when that’s happened

The scary thing is, if these fuckers are the best Parliament has to offer, what does that say about the rest of them? :jesuswept:

Parliament certainly isn't full of the best and brightest but I think this Brecxit fiasco has shown us that there is plenty of talent on the back benches who maybe don't want to be contrained by cabinet collective responsibilty. Though in fairness they are outnumbered about 5:1 by complete morons who wouldn't make shift manager in Morrisons.

Check out @benmfreeman’s Tweet:

Jewish Brit who lives in Hong Kong gets an Irish passport because he doesn't feel safe living in Britain (where he doesn't currently live) because of Corbyn's antisemitism.

Nice to see the politicians are giving themselves a pay rise. I mean after the job they're doing on Brexit. Why not?

Well they aren’t, are they? It’s set by an independent body afaia.

Doesn’t count as evidence. Reported in the MSM for starters. And those Jewish members might have been in tears, but did they write it up in a blog?

What’s happening in Labour is just what would happen in the conservatives if the Tommy Robinson brigade managed to infiltrate and take over the party mechanics.

All the nutter conspiracy theorists and revolutionary’s now, through cheap membership, have total control.

Up till a few years ago these were just the nutters in the shadows, a bit like having that elderly grandparent who uses terms like big nogs or darkies. Embarrassing but harmless.

I don’t think there’s anything Corbyn or others can actually do to regain control without damaging their own power base.

The vast majority of Labour MP’s would be joining chuka like a shot if it wasn’t for the “Labour” brand name.

Hopefully The Tiggers can establish a brand and get it frowning in time for 2022 like Macron did.

I just don't care anymore Gloom. I could point out that the Jewish Chronicle isn't what most people would call MSM with some detail. I could point out that nothing you've said in the post is actually a valid contention against the actual point I've repeatedly made by reasserting it.

But I don't care. You and CT win. This is super important and matters way more than everything other than Brexit itself, as indicated by the coverage it receives.
