I'd like Ruth Davidson but she would need a safe Tory seat first. If it's soon, then the shires will pick Boris.

Apparently Angela Raynor is a she in to replace Corbyn.

Did Andrew Neil tell you that?

But they wouldn't be up for re-election until 2022. He can do an incredible amount of damage in that time, especially with Brexit negotiations still going on.

You don't think that choosing a devout catholic as leader may lead to divisions with the DUP and end up forcing an early general election.

I am actually fairly certain the next general election will be within the next two years anyway.

Immaterial really as none of them can compete with the money tree stuff.

You mean Labour? Well I'd like to think so but if there's a leadership election not followed by a GE, then, as ewerk says, we'll have to put up with whoever wins for several years.

Am not sure the DUP could support a papist like Rees Mogg. He's be my choice as surely he is utterly, utterly unelectable.

Haven't said this for a while, but surely we can agree a more centrist Labour party with a pro-European agenda (EEA membership) would wipe the floor with these cunts. I'm not convinced Corbyn can and his own anti-EU stance rankles massively with me.
