Dr Gloom 21959
Seems an extraordinary political gamble by Sturgeon. Similar to Cameron's gamble with his failed referendum. A Scotland out of the union and potentially out of the EU too will be a much poorer place. The question is whether May calls her bluff
ewerk 30645
The EU will be much more likely to accept them as members post-Brexit than they were at the time of the first referendum imo.

Park Life 71
Krauts are loving this Scotland stuff. Another stick to beat Eng down with is how they see it. There is no way Scotland would flourish alone. Just simple things like their borrowing rates would take an instant hike when not backed by the BOE. Rayvin 5223
I think Scotland will find it difficult but they'll be able to do to the UK what May has threatened to do to Europe. Lower corp. tax, make themselves a tax haven.

Rayvin 5223
Yep, this farce has gone on long enough now. I'm not really sure what Corbyn thinks he can achieve from here, or what he's staying for.
