Keir Starmer?

Russell Brand?

I'm not sure I could manage the press fallout if Brand stood! I don't know much about Starmer but a quick google shows he's done a lot of human rights work and was director of public prosecutions which immediately puts him ahead of pretty much every single self serving Tory politician

Starmer is considered to be a good choice for the party generally, but is he 'on the left'? He might be, but I don't know. I expect he'll be who the established leftwing (Guardian) press throw their weight behind. Unless a woman runs anyway.

That said, maybe it would shut the progressives up if we did have a 'left wing' female candidate running. Which would be fine if she had the same sorts of ideas as Sanders or Corbyn.

Squirting? Did I miss something?

It was in the fallout of the Tory porn ban :D It's one of the things they took off us. Not that it's one of my go to themes, but it's mainstream enough that it was worth noting at the time

It'll be interesting to see how the Tories spin it though.

That jibe about Labour needing an alternative leader though  Desperation from May, she clearly had no idea about this.

Bercow is a travesty of a speaker there mind.  Almost silence for the PM, you could hear a pin drop for most her answers while Corbyn shouts over a raging mass, but Bercow hushes the chamber exclusively when she speaks.
