Tom 14013
Can speak Latin and quote the classics but can't remember the name of the country that bridges Europe and the Middle East. Dr Gloom 22185
Id rather keep Corbyn than have that wet fish in charge of the party. If those 2 were the best Labour could muster up as leadership challenges then Corbyn doesn't have much to Worry about Well, he certainly doesn't have to worry about ever becoming prime minister

Christmas Tree 4851
Must admit the more I hear from him, the more I like him. I can't understand why any labour supporters would not vote for him given the current crisis and the fact that his politics are very very close to Corbyns. He hereby has the CT seal of approval. Happy Face 29
the fact that his politics are very very close to Corbyns. Smith abstained on the welfare reform bill. The primary thing Corbyn voters are angry about. ...and for military action in Syria and Iraq. Corbyn has voted against every use of military force up for a vote in parliament. Gemmill 46088
I can't stand Johnson. A gigantic cunt of a man who could only exist in British politics. All these Londoners giving it the big licks about how they voted Remain would do well to remember that they also voted that twat in as mayor and gave him a platform from which to win the referendum for the Leave campaign. Aye. That Phillip Pullman piece post-referendum which I think Gloom posted about how 'characters'* like him and Farage had been horribly (over) indulged, Johnson in particular on shows like HIGNFY. He's gotten where he is by a combination of winging it and privilege. *See CT on 'pub night'

Gemmill 46088
Let's assume that you haven't just turned up to try and get a bite... I don't know how you get any enjoyment from it. May came across as big of a smug cunt as Cameron used to. It's just a showcase for how much of a cunt the standing PM is, and the last two have come up trumps every time to cackling and jeering from the roomful of adults charged with running the country. It's utterly fucking depressing and infuriating to sit through, whoever is asking/answering the questions. And May still looks like her breath reeks. I know times have moved on but it's a fantastic theatrical tradition where the PM can be grilled about virtually anything once a week. Whatever it's faults, there's many a democracy that has nothing like this (particularly presidential ones). It's a battle of oratory skill, wit and subject knowledge. In theory, you can nip along and see your local MP and get him / her to ask the PM of the day about your issue. Obviously I'm a big political nerd so love the argy bargy as well. As do others from time to time There are no grillings because the difficult question are never answered and the PM never held to account. It's an exercise in smugness and avoidance, and it makes my skin crawl to watch it. As an example btw, the quote you've screen grabbed there to try and get a bite (I should have fucking known) - Corbyn didn't make Cameron look a cunt cos he "gave him a grilling", he made him look a cunt because he asked questions that exposed what a shameful twat him and his party are. Doubtless you would have proclaimed the same PMQs a roaring success for Cameron because he avoided those same questions, but delivered his "responses" with the sort of sneering smarm that gets your gusset soggy. It's a charade, it's not an exercise in democracy or accountability.

I think the piss taking and wummary is fairly well spread out by all on here, so I'm not to sure why the odd little bit from me is such a big deal to you. 3. The only reason there has been a lack of grilling of late is because Corbyn is a disaster at it. The whole point of having 6 questions is to allow for interrogation if required. A decent MP in Corbyns shoes could have made May look very poor today.
