But for those of us who quite like centre politics, I think we are going to see quite a radical shift in policy. Could even see some good old fashioned borrowing to spend on infrastructure I expect a very exciting budget. I don't think she's going to hang around. Get it right and it will be a landslide in 2020. Not to mention that recent polling has been proven utter bollocks frequently. Actual local results since Corbyn got in suggest that there would not be a total collapse of the labor vote too though. Problem there is small sample size. But there is evidence that the people claiming the vote would collapse aren't necessarily right. What evidence is there to support their case? That the left of the eighties failed to build an effective opposition. I wonder if print and TV media had a greater stranglehold on opinion then though. Different world now. It's much more right wing nowadays and, for want of a better word, the working class no longer have brand loyalty to labour. Not to mention the internal divisions are much more severe now. It amazes me people think that the labour party as bit stands now has any chance at all. The only hope is for a radical shake up of the opposition.
