Makom 0
I thought he did OK. It doesn't matter how he comes across to card carrying Labour voters, it matters how he came across to people who are trying to decide whether he or Ed will put the economy into reverse. Nobody gives a fuck about the poor, that stopped being a Centrist concern in the UK in 1979. Â Ed's very first contribution is the good old blame it on the global financial crisis card, which shows exactly how unimaginative his campaign has been so far. It's like he doesn't even realise Cameron's just said about 5 times that he's created more jobs than the rest of the EU combined. Â And he's wearing a blue tie. What a spanner. Â Ah I'm sorry, you're one of these deluded people who thinks that a global economic collapse led by the US is something that can be legislated for? I'm curious as to how the Tories would have handled it, I really am. I notice they've not said much on that front. Ever.

Are you one of these people who think Labour can win this election by disowning their economic record?  Ed Milliband was part of Gordon Brown's economic policy circle. If he genuinely thought he couldn't do anything to affect what happened to the UK as a result of the global financial crisis, then what was he even doing in the job?
