Christmas Tree 4714
So because someone earns more than someone else that makes them less than qualified to give an opinion? Sadly this is a very lefty, blinkered board most of the time. The tories ALWAYS clean up Labours mess.
Christmas Tree 4714
No. CT claims to have been doing very well for himself under Labour. Now he clainms to be on the poverty line. But despite personal experience he argues against the evidence in his own life when discussing the merits of either party in power. Ive done well for myself under both Labour and Conservative. As for my own life, Labour always spend too much and have very little economic nouse whatsoever. They are extremely luck they inherited a very good economy in 97 and rode the housing bubble to oblivion.
Christmas Tree 4714
Looking back at that thread, CT, by his own figures, was claiming to be 49k a year, with an earning rate of 25 quid an hour (after expenses as well). So nigh on 50k for a 3 day week back in 2008, which would be closer to 60k now taking into account inflation. And of course with little tax to pay, a fact he also alluded to. And yet he's now forced to take trips to Venice on the poverty line. I'm sorry, if you're going to make ridiculous claims on the internet you have to be prepared to look ridiculous. Not at all. Christmas Tree 4714
he's one of the silliest posters i've ever come across on here. not twisted and deranged like LM, just ridiculous. he actually comes across as quite a nice lad in some ways. for a troll, i like the way he doesn't take himself too seriously and can laugh at himself when we all poke fun at him. but i doubt he even agrees with half the shite he posts. he must do, he contradicts himself so often. Really? So after 6 years on here Im sure you could very easily post 5 definite examples of me contradicting myself? I bet you dont just like you bottled the weight bet. Not at all http://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/22460-redundancies/page-5#entry584336 if you're going to make ridiculous claims on the internet you have to be prepared to look ridiculous I was referring to the original post you made where you stated what you were paid for three days work, you know, the one dredged up by Ewerk today? So well done, you've just managed to contradict yourself AGAIN in this very thread. Ateotd a bit of exaggeration isn't the worst crime ever, what more bothers me is your denial that there are genuinely poor people and yourself claiming to be poor to justify this belief. For a working class man from the north east your attitude both baffles and, admittedly, irritates me.

I never claimed to earn 49k a year taxi'ing and the figures for 3 days work are as accurate now as they were then give or take a bit. Where have I contradicted either of these? I bet you dont just like you bottled the weight bet. i'm too busy to go trawling back through all your posts. but off the top of my head .... "pardew should be england manager" followed by "pardew should be sacked" "Ashley's a football genius and the squad keeps getting better" ... followed by "Ashley deserves stick for the weak squad" "The weight is dropping off every week" followed by "Just had 8 pints, two duck pizzas with a side of 4 buttered slices" ... you get the drift? As well as choosing to fuck over the pensioners, sell off the Gold, squander money left right and centre. The Tories ARE INDEED, ONCE AGAIN, clearing up their mess. Dr Gloom 21869
So why did you bottle the charity bet? Still open to you bottled it - it was a ridiculous bet you tit. what was it again? £50 to the SBR foundation if you posted a pic of your trotters on your bathroom scales with your new weight ... as if that would prove anything. you'll have to forgive me i find it hard to believe that you stumbled across some magic formula of losing weight every week while seemingly eating and drinking what you want. sorry mate, i don't dislike you, as i've said. i think as far as forum trolls go, ours is quite endearing. but it can't come as a surprise when people accuse you of contradicting yourself. No, it was to meet a fellow toontastic supporter at Newcastle weigh station and if I wasn't within a pound or two of 12 stone 0 pounds, I would pay £50 to charity. If I was, you would. Christmas Tree 4714
i don't recall that bit like but whatever. still ridiculous in light of what you post about your diet. Let me help refresh your memory "I'm not the one calling someone a liar, that's you. You might be fit, you might eat super healthy, but calling some a liar shows quite a lack of class IMO. I don't have to prove anything nor does anyone else who makes any statement on here. I've offered you the chance to prove it but you have chickened out. If your big enough to call someone a liar you really should have the class to back it up. As for rapid weight loss I started out in January at 14-7 and I'm currently 11-11. That works out less than 1 pound a week, not rapid at all. Eating nothing but duck pizza? Most of what I post is salads, soups or home made curries. True I once made Ants home made crisps. Half a potato, microwaved. Anyway, I'll leave the offer on the table for you in case you grow a pair. If I'm under 12 stone you pay Sir Bobby £50, if I'm over, I'll pay £500"
