OTF 7295
Disappointing that it appears he won't have a chance to farewell the fans on the pitch.

StoneColdStephenIreland 74
He's a good lad, shame that it's a quiet farewell, would like to of thought he'd have got a lengthy round of applause from St James in his last appearance.

Dr Gloom 21912
Great servant. Sad to see him depart without a send off. Still good enough to retain as a squad player but can understand him leaving as he's no longer a guaranteed starter
desmondTUTU 0
Saw him in the tapas place after a game about 2 years ago. Sat literally 2 feet behind him didn't even notice him until the Mrs spotted him seemed a decent bloke

PaddockLad 17244
I understand he was very well paid during our season in the championship but him, Colo and Enrique all staying went a long way to ensuring we came back up straight away. Howmanheyman 33146
Complete waste of space, can't cross, can't score and creates nothing. He's leaving the club. Christmas Tree, on 12 Jan 2014 - 10:36 AM, lovely kid, heart like a lion, will be sorely missed.
Christmas Tree 4725
" I always rated him " I wanted to post..... But thought, no, that's just been childish. If you can't say anything nice say nothing! And then JawD posts something I could agree with and you still have a go so..... Fuck you's

hostile_statue 0
I'll feel a bit sad to see him go, no more Spiderman We haven't seen Spidey in a while tbh But yeah, will miss him, model pro and not half as bad a player as many would have you believe. essembeeofsunderland 811
But he WAS half as bad a player as many believed. Very few crosses, fewer assists and even fewer goals. You divide £s paid to him by crosses, assists and goals and we did not get our money's worth. Nearly forgot,he did well helping out our left backs to defend. BigWalrus 0
Bollocks man, he was one of the first names on the teamsheet. Football isn't just about goals and assists. Jonas was brilliant at holding possession and bringing others into the game. Someone who can hold on to the ball for 5-10 seconds and allow bodies to get forward is worth having in your side. Solid footballer who I'll look back on with fond memories.
essembeeofsunderland 811
Well you enjoy your slippers, pipe and fond memories of a player who was brilliant ( your word ) at holding possession and bringing others ( such as who ? ) into the game. Please remind me how many of these forwards he allowed to get forward received a ball from him. He was no bother off the field, and i haven't heard any player say a bad word about him ( a bit like Shola ) but his `ability' to help out our left back and his Forest Gump like running down the left wing, with very little coming from these runs, are my memories of him. These non-fruitful runs went a few a few seasons ago as you know

Rayvin 5217
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/7485216.stm From the BBC when he joined - he looked so young! And apparently was subject to interest from Portsmouth for £10m. I don't think he was ever worth that (and I reckon we probably paid about half that) but even so. Shame he's going, although he'll always be synonymous with a pretty rubbish period in our club's history for me. Not that I say that as a sleight against him at all. BigWalrus 0
We paid no fee for him. He bought himself out of his contract at Mallorca, then we paid him an inflated wage for a couple of seasons to compensate.
