Kitman 2207
He certainly shouldn't be sold until we've got in better players. Thats not the way we do things though is it?
Christmas Tree 4825
Cisse's fuckin top class in my book mind, we'd see that if it wasn't for the squad / pardew. Yup

Park Life 71
He's so good we've been unable to sell him for 2 years (and he's been offered far and wide) with the only interest coming from mad Turkish clubs. He has purple patches and is an instinctive finisher yes....But he is inj prone, has no game outside the box and can go long periods in some kind of malaise. He's getting on now and it's time to cash in. If he stays or not we still need two strikers. Edited June 24, 2015 by Park Life

acrossthepond 878
Under normal circumstances I'd snatch their hands off too. Tiote is useless now, a complete liability, not worth more than 3m, and we mostly did without him last season so he'll not be much of a miss. Cisse is an ongoing debate but if we had a quality replacement in or lined up I'd say take the money. Of course we don't have a replacement and we don't look like getting one either. OTF 7485
We don't need a replacement you stupid Ashley conditioned confirmists, we need strikers in addition to him. When you have no depth you not only are at high risk in relation to injuries but you also have no competition for spots which results in poorly performing players maintaining their position with no effort and/or contribution (Gouffran). Given how poor the current board appears to be at signing players it would be foolish to endorse the selling of a player who clearly knows where the back of the net is, even if he's getting on and has had a bad run of injuries. Aye, selling the players who actually contribute to the side is exactly why we're left with the likes of Williamson and Gouffran, long after they should have been fucked off. Selling Cisse would be fucking madness, especially if you're risking a new striker coming in and asking him to score with the rate Cisse did last season. Who, btw, was the only reason we weren't relegated in April. Those goals from October-January got us the points to keep us alive to the last day. Aye, he missed games by being a fucking radgepacket but leaving us with Riviere is suicide.
RobinRobin 11560
We need at least 2 replacements for him, but if that were the case, I would be willing to let him go. Even in the West Ham match, when we were 2-0 up in the 91st minute, he was trying to pick a fight, which is exactly why he missed 10 games through suspension. In addition, his knee still looks f*cked.
Happy Face 29
Cisse hadn't had a single booking or red card in 2 seasons. 2 provoked retaliations in short space has given him a reputation up there with Joey Barton but they were such pathetic attempts at retaliation that even the referees in those games ignored them. He's a Bunny rabbit.
scoobos 298
Agreed, I also wonder about these "injuries" as Ashley's been known to make players feign injury during negotiations with buyers.

This. Cisse is a useful striker. We should be adding to him, improving the depth of the squad, giving us options up front - not selling him before we've replaced him and bought in the two or three other strikers needed.
