derby days:yay or nay?

Hallo peeps,

 

with the lack of a derby day thread at the moment, I thought of put a question to you lot:do you enjoy playing the filth?one one hand, people say they love the occasion, others (myself included) hate the games, and the build up.

in fact, I'd quite happily never play them again, and I'd only be happy once they closed the bastards down and held car boot sales at the stadt de merde.

so anyway, what do you lot think?

One of the few games that stirs the blood properly. Given our owner's lack of ambition, beating them may become the highlight of the season.

 

Fuck that's depressing, I don't like judging our season by our comparative success to theirs. That's what they did when we were looking towards Europe. When they chanted 2-1, we could ask "Ever seen a mackem in Milan?"

 

given we're not chasing Europe, what can we look forward to? Finishing in the Top half? How's that success if you don't do anything with it?
