Christmas Tree 4812
This app works fine on the iphone in the house via WiFi but will not work at all on 3G. Also, stuff Ive downloaded will not play. I click on watch and then it looks as though it's about to play but then returns to the menu. A bit googling around seems to suggest ios7 may have changed mms and apn settings etc. Anyone had this problem. I also seem to see GPRS a lot lately when I haven't seen it for years. I used to get 3G and E or a circle ???? Any ideas
Tom 14013
You'll need 4G as 3G is nowhere near fast enough, surely? Though with Sky Broadband they do a wifi hotspot thing - through BT I think - so you may be able to log into that - it's best to ring them to find out. I shouldn't need any signal to watch downloaded content. As for live programs they used to work fine on 3G but don't work at all now. It's a technical issues that's to do with ios7 as far as I can work out so far.
Gemmill 45955
Sounds like they probably need to fix the app following the ios7 upgrade.
ewerk 31183
The circle symbol you were previously getting was the symbol for GPRS. Try deleting the app and reinstalling it and also connect your phone to itunes to make sure you have the latest carrier settings.

Christmas Tree 4812
Turns out the APN settings are set to Idata.o2.co.uk which is as they should be for a contract iphone 5, however following advice on google I have changed then to mobile.o2.co.uk This is meant to be the setting for a pay monthly non iphone Tarrif ???? Anyway it works.

Christmas Tree 4812
You're gonna burn through your monthly data allowance in an hour. It's for watching stuff Ive already downloaded to the phone from sky. No connection necessary but this glitch prevented the app from working for some reason. Kid Dynamite 7162
I have this issue. Im on giffgaff so get unlimited 3g. Could always watch sky go over 3g in high quality and on a good day was getting speeds of 4-5mb. Overnight it stopped working though. 3g is still the same speeds but sky go app always resets itself back to the main menu unless I watch it over wi fi?
